Absolutely not! Pregnancy Yoga should be practiced during labour and birth so you don’t have to stop at 40 weeks. The only occasion on which you’d need to stop Pregnancy Yoga is if you’ve been advised to stop all physical activity by your health care professional. If that’s the case you can ask them if you can still practice gentle stretches. Their response will be based on your specific medical reasons for being told to stop physical exercise but it’s always good to ask, as you could still be receiving a lot of the benefits from just gentle stretching and breathing exercises.

Pregnancy Yoga is designed specifically for your ever-changing pregnant body. Our specialist team of instructors know how to guide you through a practice that’s safe for both you, and your baby. We ensure that you don’t put too much pressure on your joints and we work specifically at relieving pressure around your body. We avoid things like getting you to lie down on your back and putting you in any position that puts pressure on your abdomen.
We always advise that you speak to your healthcare professional before taking part in any Pregnancy Yoga.
